Nottingham-based marketing agency The Media Group has been appointed to deliver the event at the Crowne Plaza hotel.

James Stibbs, head of communications at Sport and Recreation Alliance, said: "Nottingham is a great sporting city and it will make a brilliant setting for the senior leaders in our sector to come together. Nottingham understands what sport means to its community and that’s part of the reason we have chosen the city to host our event.

"The Media Group add value to our events with their creative and technical expertise. We look forward to working together to make sure our delegates have the best possible experience of Nottingham," he added.

Previous speakers have included Olympic gold medal winner Katherine Grainger, England football manager Roy Hodgson and chairman of UK Sport Baroness Sue Campbell.

Keith Daniell, managing director of The Media Group, commented: "The event will bring together the most respected senior leaders in sport for two days of world-class learning. The opportunity to deliver a great event in our home city of Nottingham is one that we’re really excited about."
