The one day exhibition for event buyers will be held on Tuesday 20 October, the event will give planners the chance to meet 50 independent venues and hotels from across the UK. Venues exhibiting include The Coniston Hotel, Bolton Whites Hotel, The Imperial War Museum, Newbury Racecourse, Newcastle United Football Club, Ziferblat and Stoke Rochford Hall.

Emma Cartmell, managing director of CHS Group, said that independent venues offer a different proposition to buyers, but it can be difficult for event organisers to find the time or budget to visit them.

"There are many independent venues across the UK offering unique and unusual meeting and event spaces but they are so often overlooked by event buyers," said Cartmell. "We have decided to change this by championing the independents and creating an event that will showcase them to buyers in one highly effective but relaxing afternoon."

The Independent Venue Show will also include an education programme dedicated to Corporate Event Planners, Venue Finders and PAs.
