Dundee to host major scientific conference

Dundee's hosting of the International Society of Addiction Medicine (ISAM) 2015 conference will see the city welcome hundreds of leading experts from around the globe from 5-8 October.

It will also help to reinforce Dundee & Angus’s reputation as a leading conference and event destination.

Recently named the UK’s first City of Design by the United Nations, Dundee continues to prosper with new developments and attractions. The £1 billion Dundee Waterfront regeneration will be a further boost to the city as both a business and leisure destination.

The world famous Victoria and Albert (V&A) Museum will occupy a prime site at the heart of the Dundee Waterfront, where new buildings and better transport services will reconnect the city centre with an outlook on to the River Tay.

The V&A Dundee is set to open in 2018, bringing major benefits for the city, and is set to further enhance its reputation as a leading player in the global field of design. Beyond the city, Angus boasts spectacular scenery, castles and a range of top links golf courses.
