Whistler, British Columbia, Canada

Northern Canada is a haven for ski incentives and Whistler, British Columbia is regarded as one of the best spots to take groups to. The Olympic Games came to its snowy peaks in 2010, which means there will be plenty of slopes for avid skiers to challenge themselves on.

Whistler is also home to the longest and highest lift in the world and there is no better place to access the views of the British Columbia mountains before hurtling down them. Non-skiers can trek the amazing Alpine trails, where volcanic landscapes, ancient glaciers and expansive lakes can be seen.

The five star 274-room Four Season Resort Whistler acts as a perfect base camp for a week long incentive on the Whistler Blackbomb mountains. As far as the property’s luxury accommodation goes, high-end groups can pick from one-bedroom Premier Suites, two-bedroom Executive Suites, two-bedroom Den Townhouses and a Presidential Suite.

During downtime, delegates can relax in its award-winning spa offering a range of massages and treatments. Dining options include its Classic Steakhouse, fine dining in Taste by Four Seasons and the Apres-Ski Lifestyle cocktail lounge.

Engadin St Moritz, Switzerland

It doesn’t get much better than skiing in the Swiss Alps and in St Moritz groups have no fewer than four large ski areas to choose from. As well as being ‘snow-sure’ all year round, Upper Engadin is blessed with almost constant sunshine, which makes this destination an obvious choice for ski incentives.

The Kempinski Grand Hotel des Bains is a five-star property with direct access to the ski and hiking region of Corviglia, one of the aforementioned skiing areas of St Moritz. Located at the bed of the picturesque Mauritius spring, the hotel includes 184 rooms and suites and 27 luxury residences. The hotel provides ski rentals and schools for guests needing to spruce up on their technique and with the Hahnensee run ending at the door of the property, a day on the slopes in Corviglia couldn’t be easier.

Dining facilities include four restaurants, with an additional bar and cigar lounge, as well as a 2,800sqm spa. This year, the hotel’s winter season begins on 4 December and ends 28 March 2016, before reopening again in June for the summer where hiking, mountain biking and other outdoor pursuits are on offer.

Sestriere, Italy

Home to the Winter Olympics in 2006, Sestriere offers traditional Italian hospitality and panoramic skiing 2,000 metres up in the Via Lattea region. It's very compact so everywhere is within easy walking distance. The Milly Way ski run includes 400km of piste perfect for cross country skiing while dog sledding is also available as a unique addition to the trip.

Situated at an altitude of 2,035 metres is the Grand Hotel Sestriere. Not only does it offer 100 rooms in ornate surroundings, but also 'wine therapy' spa treatments. Five-star, contemporary accommodation can be found at the Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte, which also has meeting rooms accommodating up to 150 and 'ski-in, ski-out' facilities.
