Langham to open Dubai hotel

Langham Hotels and Resorts has announced it will open its first luxury city hotel in Dubai.

The £173m Langham Place Downtown Dubai, which opens in 2018, will be located in the Burj Khalifa district.

The hotel is set to have 167 bedrooms and 400sqm of event space for corporate meetings. Its facilities will include a spa and four different food and beverage outlets including an all-day dining restaurant, a rooftop bar and lounge, a specialty restaurant and a salon serving the brand's signature afternoon tea.

The hotel will provide easy access to Downtown Dubai, Mohammed bin Rashid City, Business Bay and the upcoming Dubai Design District. It will also be close to the Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai International Financial Centre.
