Lisbon: three new hotel openings

The Portuguese capital has seen a number of openings this year. C&IT highlights three options for groups.

H10 Duque de Loule: The four-star, 89-room property is located a few feet away from the central Praça Marquês de Pombal. The building was home to a convent until 1890 and it still retains its original façade. A meeting room caters for up to 80 guests and the hotel’s tenth-floor terrace offers views across Lisbon and the Tagus estuary.

InterContinental Estoril: Located to the west of Lisbon’s city centre in the town of Estoril, the InterContinental Estoril overlooks the Atlantic Ocean, offering sea views and is a two-minute walk to the train station that connects the coastal towns, Lisbon city centre and Lisbon Airport.  The hotel offers 59 rooms, meeting space and fitness and spa facilities.

Santiago de Alfama: The five-star boutique hotel, located on Rua de Santiago, offers thirteen rooms and six suites. One of the suites is available for events, offering a 55sqm space, catering for 35 for banquets, 24 reception-style and 40 theatre-style.
