TAG’s global corporate division in Manchester will be headed up by Deborah Brumby, who was previously director of CSR Travel. The division will focus on business travel opportunities in the corporate marketplace in the North West region of the UK. The expansion of the corporate travel division into Manchester follows that of the events team earlier this year.

Trevor Johnson, general manager of TAG Manchester, said: "These are exciting times in the north of the UK with investment in business strong in many areas of commerce and industry.

"We have a keen focus on the corporate market and our close working partnership with the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce highlights this. We welcome Debbie Brumby onto our team here in Manchester as we strive to develop our business and become the number one travel management company in the region."

The news follows a 330% profit boost for TAG, following its rebrand at the start of this year. The agency has been focusing on the further expansion of its global offices and recently launched a US arm. It also plans to open a Singapore office this autumn.
