Crescendo hires new communications director

Events agency Crescendo has recruited a new communications director, in line with the growth of its client services.

Former journalist and freelance communications specialist, Dave Austin, has joined the group fulltime after working as a facilitator on some of the company’s events. His appointment will drive the growth of corporate communications within the business.

"Dave will bring a lot of experience to the Crescendo team," said Russell Allen, engagement director for Crescendo. "As a former broadcaster and journalist he knows what makes a good story and he has a depth of experience in the live arena. He knows how to maximise the message our clients want to get out to their audiences."

"I’m delighted to take a more formal role in such an exciting and innovative company," said Austin.  "Aside from creative brand events, we will be broadening our service offering into the wider remit of corporate communications, expanding our portfolio to offer effective communication services to clients. I’m really looking forward to getting my teeth into this."
