Third W hotel to open in Los Angeles

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has announced plans to open the W Los Angeles Downtown in California.

The 250-room hotel will be located within an upscale mixed-use development directly across from the L.A. LIVE entertainment complex. It will join W Los Angeles – West Beverly Hills and W Hollywood as the brand’s third hotel in LA and is scheduled to open in early 2019. 

The hotel will feature 4,663sqm of state-of-the-art meeting and event space and will also sit at the corner of St. Figueroa and 11th Street, facing the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Other facilities will include a 1,524sqm spa with eight treatment rooms, a pool with bar and grill and an on-site shop. There will also be a signature restaurant and destination bar. 

W Los Angeles Downtown will be located close to premium bar and restaurant space, the Staples Center sports venue, the financial centre and the fashion district. It will also be within easy reach of Los Angeles Airport.
