Exclusive: Rapiergroup boosts employee investment by 20%

Agency Rapiergroup has increased staff investment by 20% in the past year, which includes the appointment of 12 new employees.

The agency, which now has a total headcount of 55, is set to recruit a further two senior project managers, a designer and an events manager, in line with growth and development. The latest hires were predominantly in 'operational delivery', including team leaders, project managers and designers. 

According to Helen Seaman, group managing director at Rapiergroup, investments aren’t just about new wins, but also improving work/life balance for existing staff. "Around three years ago directors were shocked by the results of a survey by external management consultants, which showed that whilst the clients were very happy, the staff were not and we made a commitment back in 2012 to do something about it," she said, explaining the ‘catalyst for change’ within the organisation.

"Since then we’ve become an ‘investor in people’, providing updated technology to allow staff to work from home, and employing additional staff to ensure employees do not feel under strain."
