Jefferies worked in the role of hospitality event sales executive at the National Theatre and will be responsible for assisting with coordination of marketing activities at the Twickenham experience, as well as supporting the sales team.

The Twickenham Experience has already strengthened its team prior to the Rugby World Cup later this year, and hired Poonam Kapoor as event coordinator in May.

Head of conference and events sales at the Twickenham Experience, James Lee, said: "We’re delighted to be welcoming Laura on board as marketing and administration Assistant. It’s been a busy year so far here at Twickenham so we’re delighted to be able to strengthen the team with such great new talent."

Jefferies added: "I’m thrilled to be starting in this new role at Twickenham. It’s such an exciting time to be joining the team and I’m really looking forward to helping drive the marketing initiatives for the venue."
