Domestic landscape

88% of agencies stated that London was their most used destination in 2014, whilst 5% of agencies mentioned Birmingham.

63% of corporates said that London was their most used destination in 2014, followed by Manchester (7%) and Birmingham (5%)

Overseas trends

24% of agencies revealed that Barcelona was their most used overseas destination in 2014, with a further 15% saying the US, including Miami, Boston, San Francisco and Las Vegas.

36% of corporates revealed that they didn’t use overseas destinations in 2014.

2015 choices

7% of agencies said they would be taking their events to Canada, with Vancouver, Toronto and Lake Louise all mentioned. A further 7% said Brazil – mainly Rio and Sao Paulo, with 4% of the survey stating Vietnam, Colombia and Panama.
