The multi-million pound development is located in the grounds of larger event venue, Hotthorpe Hall, and is intended to provide an alternative to the manor house environment.

The Woodlands is open for meetings, conferences, launches and corporate parties and can host events for up to 100 people. It has one meetings room, a bar/lounge and a dining room, as well as 23 ensuite bedrooms within a series of woodland lodges. It also features a luxury elevated treehouse with one bedroom, lounge, kitchenette and bathroom.

Nicola Firth, chief executive of Hothorpe Hall and The Woodlands, said: "We’re thrilled to be opening The Woodlands, which has been in the pipeline since 2013. It allows us to offer a quirky, modern venue, different to the historic Hothorpe Hall as well as welcome more customers due to increased capacity.

"We’re pleased to have already taken bookings from big name brands who have booked The Woodlands for meetings and staff summer and Christmas parties."

Hotthorpe Hall has ten meeting rooms and 55 bedrooms, and can be used in conjunction with the Woodlands for larger groups.
