C&IT TV: Event planners talk sustainability at SES 2015

Hewlett-Packard, Smyle, The Black Tomato Agency and ExCel London told C&IT why sustainability is important to the industry at Monday's Sustainable Events Summit (SES) at London's QEII Centre.

Themes that arose included the idea of sustainability as a rewarding and engaging part of an event for delegates, and Smyle MD Rick Stainton said that more and more clients are now interested in incorporating sustainability into their events.


Jane Culcheth Beard, events manager, central EMEA and worldwide programs at Hewlett-Packard, talked about the company's 'cradle to grave' approach to austainability and highlighted the importance of including it in everything that it does.

C&IT and sister title Event magazine were the official media partners for this year's Sustainable Events Summit.
