Galgorm Resort & Spa to unveil luxury extension

A £10m extension to the Galgorm Resort & Spa will open in September.

The Northern Ireland property, located in Ballymena, Co Antrim, 30 minutes from Belfast, will unveil 48 luxury hotel rooms and a 'spa village' as part of the development. The rooms will include luxury suites and deluxe guestrooms with views over the River Maine or country views while the spa village will have both indoor and outdoor facilities. Features include a Snow Paradise cooling experience and a sanarium.

Following the opening of the extension, the property will have a total of 128 rooms. The hotel has six meeting spaces, the largest hosting up to 500 theatre-style. It completed a refurbishment of its meeting space in 2011.
