Connecting brand owners and organisations to information, the venue-finding platform encourages event planners, marketers and operators to share their experiences and advice online. The TripAdvisor-style Eventopedia model was first launched in London in January.
Working with Monte-Carlo Societe des Bains des Mer, the largest operator in Monte Carlo, Eventopedia offers a fast search engine, representing 99% of the destination’s event spaces.
Ugo Delory, business development director for UK and Ireland at Monte-Carlo SBM, said Eventopedia had a unique concept, which was highly effective in venue sourcing.
Alan Newton, Eventopedia co-founder, said: "Having worked with Monte-Carlo SBM for many years, we felt launching Monte-Carlo as the second Eventopedia destination aligned with our high-level service and value for money."
