IFB 2016 gains support from HSBC, PwC, Siemens and Virgin Trains

HSBC has been named headline sponsor of the second International Festival for Business (IFB) in Liverpool next summer, with PwC, Siemens and Virgin Trains also pledging support.

At a launch event for IFB 2016 at the London Stock Exchange yesterday morning (24 June), it was announced that law firm DLA Piper and Heathrow Airport would also be supporting the three-week series of events, which will take place in June and July 2016.

Max Steinberg, chair of the International Festival for Business, said: "At next year’s IFB festival we will celebrate Britain’s collective economic strengths, showcasing our capabilities to the world for three weeks of events and deal-making."

Last year, IFB 2014 attracted 68,600 attendees across 415 business events.
