Record-breaking Event360 attracts more than 400 event professionals

Event360, a creative summit designed by C&IT and its sister publication, Event, attracted more than 400 event professionals on Tuesday (23 June) and trended on Twitter in the UK.

Taking place at the Roundhouse in London, the one-day event offered a platform to explore the latest innovation in the events world and for corporate and agency planners to interact with suppliers, with around 1,200 meetings taking place throughout the day.

The Twitter hashtag #Event360 was used in more than 800 posts, generating a total of almost five million impressions and trending at least twice in the UK.

Jess Hall, account manager at agency five hats, said the event was innovative, providing a platform to meet with lots of suppliers in one place. "It was a really insightful day, particularly in terms of new tech trends and new approaches. Watching Lauren the contortionist break the world record with her hula-hooping was really amazing. It's all the unique aspects to the event which make it memorable." She added that the forum gave the international agency a chance to focus on London. "When you work all around the world, sometimes you can forget how much great stuff there is right here in the city."

For corporate clients, the event provided a varied meetings platform. "It was a great opportunity to meet new suppliers and understand the latest market trends," said Emily Peeroo, category manager for conferences and events at Lloyds Banking Group.
