The company, which has a collection of more than 400 luxury properties, has strong relationships with agencies who operate in the automotive industry, with this niche sector accounting for around 50% of its MICE business.

"Our hotels are all in the luxury sector and lend themselves very well to the automotive industry," explained Benjamin Buttery, group sales manager at Leading Hotels of the World. "Big events tend to be held around the world and we offer a wide range of properties for event groups to choose from." He added that the automotive industry was a big part of business, and it was important to continue serving the existing market, as well as attracting new agencies.

Rupert Radford-Hardy, the company’s senior director, said the website included key information for event planners, such as how many vehicles can be stored in a hotel, nearest petrol stations, race tracks, suggested test drive routes, interactive maps and a hotel search function.
