Manchester Central

The lowdown
Manchester Central offers a combination of conference and event facilities spanning more than 23,000m2 and accommodating up to 10,000 delegates. Recent clients include B&Q, Travel Counsellors and Tesco.

What's new?
The venue was accredited with Investors in People Gold status in March, joining a select group of convention centres to achieve the coveted accolade.

Stand-out feature
Accessibility. The city-centre venue is well served by local public transport, is a 20-minute drive from Manchester's international airport and has 720 on-site parking spaces.

Buyer verdict
Sarah Lawrence, B&Q business events expert, says: "The team at Manchester Central couldn't have been more supportive and informative, both prior to and during the conference. Its dedicated team members were on hand for the duration of the event and felt like an extension of the B&Q team. Post-conference, delegate feedback has been extremely positive and I would definitely recommend Manchester Central to anyone currently thinking of holding their event or conference there in future."

Best contact
Elizabeth Conboy, venue sales manager, on 0161 834 2700 or e.conboy@manchestercentral.co.uk
