Wright, who held a position on Grass Roots’ executive board for 11 years, will work with BI Worldwide's global clients to improve channel engagement, brand advocacy and productivity.

Mike Davies, managing director, BI Worldwide, said: "We are thrilled to welcome Amanda to the team. She is someone we have worked with previously and so we jumped at the chance to bring her in on a permanent basis."

Wright added: "I am delighted to be joining the UK leadership team at such an exciting point in BI Worldwide’s evolution. I am really looking forward to contributing to and building upon the company’s success."

Earlier this year, BI Worldwide appointed Shaun Casey to the role of operations director following the departure of director of events David Battley. Battley subsequentley joined Grass Roots as account director in March.
