Sheraton hotel opens at Italy's Lake Como

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has announced the opening of the Sheraton Lake Como hotel in Italy.

Sheraton Lake Como has 116 guest rooms, including four newly renovated suites. The hotel is located in northern Italy within walking distance of the Lake Como shore, and it is also located adjacent to the area’s Villa Erba Exhibition and Conference Centre.

Meeting facilities at Sheraton Lake Como include a large conference centre with ten modular rooms, each of which can hold between 40-150 people, and together can accommodate up to 1,000 guests. The hotel also features Spazio Como, a futuristically designed, multi-functional space by Italian architect Attilio Terragni, which can host up to 350 people.

Other facilities include a Sheraton Fitness Centre, two outdoor swimming pools and a Jacuzzi. The property also features two dining venues and a private park for sunbathing, jogging, and picnicking.
