Newsome was previously events executive at Capita Travel and Events and has also worked at Venues Event Management, taking responsibility for clients including Morgan Stanley, Trader Media and Balfour Beatty.

Lowe said: "We’re delighted to have Kerry on board, joining Lindsay Bowie as our second project and events manager. Kerry brings a huge wealth of industry experience to the table, we’re very lucky to have her on board and I have no doubt that her appointment will be of huge benefit to our team.  It cements our desire to put the needs of our clients at the very centre of all we do."

Newsome added: "I’m extremely excited to be joining the team at Venues and Events, many of whom I have worked with before. I look forward to working with Anita and the team, and I cannot wait to be part of something new and clearly exciting."

Lowe set up Swindon-based agency Venues and Events in March after her surprise exit from Bluehat Group, the agency that she joined in January to head up its new Venues and Events division.
