Kapoor joins from Sofitel London Heathrow Hotel where she held the position of meetings and events executive.

She will be responsible for coordinating contracted events for the venue’s commercial clients, facilitating handover from the sales team to the operations team.

Rob Brumell, conference and events operations manager at Twickenham Experience, said: "We’re delighted to be welcoming Poonam on board here at Twickenham. It’s been a really busy six months for the venue and we anticipate that this will continue both during and after the tournament later this year, so it’s great to be able to welcome someone as experienced as Poonam to the Twickenham team."

Kapoor added: "I’m so pleased to be working at the home of England Rugby. It’s such an exciting time to be joining the team here and there’s a real sense of anticipation which is great for our clients who choose to hold their events here."
