Michael Hetherston, formerly executive chef at Absolute Taste, had been appointed director of events.
He is joined by Holly Burrows, who takes up the role of head of events, sales and marketing following a series of high-profile marketing and commercial positions with the Institute of Promotional Marketing (IPM), LBC Group, and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).
Matthew Smith, former executive chef for the Venice Simplon Orient Express, also joins the team, charged with running Forman’s bespoke production kitchen.
Housed in a salmon-pink, salmon shaped building, Forman’s Fish Island overlooks the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and has capacity for up to 1,000 guests.
Lance Forman, owner of Forman’s Fish Island, said: "Just in the last two weeks we have hosted events for Nike, Sony Mobile, London Business School and for Google. Clients love us because we are a heritage business in an exciting part of town, have a unique venue with an iconic view and produce outstanding quality food.
"With the Rugby World Cup coming to the Olympic stadium later this year and West Ham FC next year, the new team will help us develop this key part of our business."
