The site features a drop-in business lounge with individual workstations called Thinkpods and a suite of small meeting rooms, seating two to four people, available to book by the hour.

Regus is hoping to attract hotel guests, local and national businesses and business travellers to use the facility.

The launch is part of a wider roll-out of Regus ‘third place’ locations around the UK, which caters to the flexible working trend. The Regus Express network in Britain already covers motorway service areas, retail parks, shopping centres and airports.

Richard Morris, UK CEO at Regus, said: "The opening of our second hotel location testifies to the need for bespoke and dedicated business spaces that match today’s flexible workforce. We know that more and more people are working flexibly, instead of the traditional 9-5 in the office, and we are seeing month-on-month growth in interest in Regus Express as retailers, transport operators and universities all switch on to the commercial opportunity presented by the mobile work and business travel market.

"We are confident that this latest site will prove popular with business travellers and local firms alike."
