Scotland on Tour event comes to London

Scotland will pay a visit to London next month as some of the country's top venues go on tour around the UK capital.

The annual Scotland on Tour event, which is organised by the Business Events team at VisitScotland, will see representatives from seven venues visit some of the top conference and incentive agents around London and the M25 corridor, giving them the opportunity to meet potential clients face-to-face.

On board a luxury coach, representatives from Ardoe House Hotel & Spa, Crieff Hydro, Fairmont St Andrews, Fonab Castle Hotel & Spa, Blairquahan Castle, Macdonald Hotels & Resorts and Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh, will enjoy meetings with event agencies over two days.

The agents will engage in meetings with both partners and the VisitScotland Business Events team, to find out about the latest developments in Scotland and what the country has to offer.

Scotland on Tour takes place over 2-3 June, with those on board set to sample some of the country’s finest morsels to celebrate Scotland’s Year of Food and Drink 2015.

Mihri Miralem, account development manager, London, in VisitScotland’s Business Events team, said: "Scotland on Tour is a hugely popular event among suppliers and buyers alike. Giving Scottish venues a chance to meet face-to-face with event organisers is a great way to sell their product. From stunning scenery, fantastic food and drink, history, culture, golf, as well as state-of-the art facilities, Scotland really is the business destination that has everything."
