C&IT Venue of the Week is the Crowne Plaza Berlin - Potsdamer Platz, which opened last week in the centre of the German capital.

The 256-room hotel includes 19 suites and is situated a 15-minute walk of Potsdamer Platz. It is close to government buildings, businesses, shops, restaurants, bars, tourist attractions, as well as being well connected to Berlin’s airports and the central railway station.

For business and events, Crowne Plaza Berlin – Potsdamer Platz has its own executive floor with a separate lounge and roof terrace. The hotel offers 500sqm of meeting and event facilities, including eight flexible function rooms and one divisible ballroom which can host meetings and events for up to 250 people.

Other facilities include a spa, fitness centre and treatment rooms. There is also a restaurant and bar onsite.

The Post, the hotel’s restaurant (below), is a French brasserie offering 'freshly prepared Mediterranean specialties' and boasting an open show kitchen, as well as a spacious terrace.
