Hyde, who had previously spent more than 12 years as general manager, business events at the Barbican, joined the events agency in November 2014 to take over the day-to-day running from its founder and owner Jacqui Kavanagh.

Hyde told C&IT: "I’ve always been a great supporter of Trinity Event Solutions and we’ve done some great things during my time there. They are in a strong position going forward and I have great respect for Jacqui and the team.

"Right now, I’m looking at all my options and figuring out what’s next for me. It’s been brilliant working agency side and going in with a venue background has given me fresh perspective."

Hyde is still heavily involved with the MPI UK & Ireland Chapter having held the presidency in 2009/10, and ABPCO, and also offers consultancy services for a number of organisations within the events industry.
