Marriott to open conference hotel in Taipei

Marriott International's Taipei Marriott Hotel will be the largest integrated complex in Taipei, Taiwan and will open in July 2015.

Taipei Marriott will consist of a 320-room hotel, a convention centre, a shopping mall and luxury apartments. It is located in the capital’s commercial hub on the north bank of the Keelung River, and is a ten-minute journey from Songshan International Airport.

The hotel has 9843sqm of event space spread over 13 different rooms, the largest of which can hold 1,200 people. It has a business centre, concierge levels and a lounge, as well as a dedicated in-house exhibition space. It also offers catering and audiovisual facilities.

Other facilities include four different restaurants and a bar, as well as a fitness centre and a heated rooftop pool.
