The win is the spin-off brand's first since it launched at the end of last year, and sees it become the university’s sole incumbent for live event support services including the delivery of its annual graduate ceremonies.
For this year's ceremonies, Spark will transform the university’s tennis centre into an awards environment, installing power, air-conditioning, audio-visual technology, staging, seating, carpets, toilets, marquees and providing event crew.
Deborah Green, director of marketing at Leeds Beckett University, commented: "We received a number of responses to the tender request and went through a thorough evaluation process. We are committed to minimising our environmental impact, therefore sustainability was a fundamental consideration from the outset of the process.
Spark Thinking not only demonstrated that they could meet our budget requirements, but showed additional creativity and sustainability; both key factors in our decision-making process. We look forward to working with Spark Thinking as we celebrate the achievements of all of our students at our graduation ceremonies."
