More than 6,000 people are known to have died in the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that happened on 25 April. Thousands more are injured or missing in the rubble, and the Nepal government has warned that the death toll could rise to more than 10,000.
The Red Cross has said that more than six million people living within 100km of the epicentre have potentially been affected, with nearby towns and villages left in "almost total devastation".
