According to a report filed at Companies House, UK events agency Rapiergroup achieved an operating profit in 2014 of £910,000, while profit after tax leapt to £703,000, up from £195,000 in 2013.
Turnover for the agency also jumped to £13.52m, up from £8.05m.
In the report, directors said: "Following a challenging 2013, the directors are exceptionally pleased with the performance in 2014. The commitment shown by the staff during 2014 was outstanding and this largely contributed to the financial success.
"The marketing sector appears to be showing signs of recovery, after several years of reduced spend. The main risk to the business is the instability within Europe and the weakness of the Euro."
