The group, which consisted of C&IT, Delion group managing director Howard Thompson and director of marketing and events Noreen Thompson, as well as several of the agency's clients, embarked on a three-day itinerary that showcased the city of Limassol and the surrounding towns and countryside.
The itinerary was kept a mystery to the entire group throughout the trip and it was full of surprises. After arriving at the Four Seasons hotel, where the group stayed for the duration of the visit, a private mini bus took the unsuspecting 'fam trippers' to the stunning Greco-Roman theatre of Curium, which overlooks the Mediterranean Sea before visiting the Aphrodite Hills Resort.
After lunch at Elea Golf course, the group travelled west to the coastal town of Paphos to explore the harbour and the nearby Thanos Hotel. The short journey back to Limassol was haulted for a surprise glass of champagne on the cliffs overlooking the historic Rock of Aphrodite.
The following day, the group travelled into the mountains in a convoy of jeeps to see the remote villages and monastries before dabbling in a spot of arts and crafts, using local tools and materials. An entertaining lunch was served at Katol Restaurant in Omodos Village where at the end of another feast of Cypriot and Greek cuisine, members of the group were encouraged to try some traditional dancing.
A trip along the coastline on a private yacht was organised on the final day, which took the group to a small fishing village called Zygi. A stop at the stunning Defermou Winery, which has two outdoor event space overlooking the hills of southern Cyprus, concluded the itinerary.
