The conference, which was held at the event agency’s studio in Hartlebury, Worcestershire, is part of drp’s 35 CSR projects being undertaken to celebrate its 35th Anniversary celebrations.

The Princess Royal attended the conference in the morning to speak with the delegates and to learn how to best support young people who regularly care for family members.

The YSS Worcestershire Young Carers worked with drp in the build up to the conference to learn about event management before assisting the agency with the delivery of the event itself.

Dale Parmenter, CEO, drp, said: "We were blown away by the incredible sacrifices these young carers have had to make and the amazing support provided to them by YSS. We had to find a way to support them further and so this conference, where we’ve worked with the careers themselves in creating it, has been our pleasure to deliver.

"Each carer delivering the event has been amazing and we were all inspired by Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal’s insightful words."
