The company has appointed Liz Pilling, formerly of Silverstone Circuits, as events manager heading up the team, while Rebecca Gibson, formerly of Purple Grape, has taken up the role of events co-ordinator.

Ms Pilling will oversee all corporate event conferences for external clients and manage the seasonal programme of events and entertainment for village leisure guests.

She said: "The venue at Woburn continues to flourish since its opening late in 2014, going from strength to strength and has enormous potential and flexibility for further growth. I love that each day can be different in terms of the type of events we host. Team work is key at Woburn to ensure that the clients both corporate and leisure want to return time and time again."

Ms Gibson, who has a background in fashion and beauty events, will be the first point of contact for corporate clients, with her role ranging from booking and amending accommodation, arranging dining in one of Woburn Forest’s nine onsite restaurants and working with the leisure team to book activities.

She said: "At my previous role, project sizes varied enormously, however the key element was always to ensure customer satisfaction. I look forward to carrying this philosophy and my experience to Woburn Forest and working with the vibrant team."

Ryan Gray, head of sales at Center Parcs group, said: "It is a very exciting time for Woburn Forest and our newest team members show how well our newest village is doing. Both Rebecca and Liz are well versed in corporate events, and come with a great integral understanding of the industry. This coupled with their dynamic events background is will be a great addition and will prove invaluable."

The news comes after Center Parcs expanded its head office conference and events team earlier this year.
