Turkish Airlines will launch a new daily flight from London Heathrow to Istanbul on 25 October 2015.

The new flight will depart Istanbul at 2:50pm and arrive in Heathrow at 5pm. The return flight will leave Heathrow at 6pm, landing in Istanbul at 11:50pm. The additional route brings the total number of weekly flights from Heathrow to Istanbul to 38.

Osman Battal, Turkish Airlines general manager for Heathrow and Gatwick, said: "We are delighted to announce a new addition to our already impressive roster of flights from London Heathrow. We are incredibly proud of our Turkish roots and happy that more and more passengers are using our airline to visit Turkey; not only as a final stop but also as a hub to their onward destination."
