World's most dependable airline announced

Qatar Airways has been named as the world's most dependable airline in a study of major carriers conducted by travel site Wanderbat.

Qatar Airways topped the list of 22 international airlines with a perfect 100 score. The rating was based on low cost to check bags, on-time percentage and average age of airline fleet.

Emirates and China Eastern came in a close second, each of them scoring 97 points, while Singapore Airlines scored 96. British Airways was the only UK airline to make the list, coming in eighth place with 91 points.
