Kelmarsh Hall in Northamptonshire has completed a £40,000 refurbishment to reveal an improved outdoor events site.

The site revamp included the installation of a state-of-the-art drainage system to prevent the risk of flooding and create 124 acres of flat, outdoor space for events. The site also gained metalled roads for east mobility, parking space for 14,000 cars, and a dedicated landing site for helicopters and light aircrafts.

The outdoor space is suitable for large marquees and can hose up to 20,000 delegates. In the past the site has hosted events for a number of important brands, including HSBC, Next, Mercedes-Benz, Barclaycard, Bentley, Jaguar and Rolls-Royce.

The announcement of the completed refurbishment comes shortly after Kelmarsh Hall revamped its corporate events offering in February.

Lesley Denton, general manager at Kelmarsh Hall, said: "Our history, combined with the surrounding woodland and picturesque views over the countryside, offers an atmosphere like no other. We are delighted to be able to offer the facilities that allow our clients to enjoy our outdoor space and make the most of it over the summer."
