Maritim to open largest conference hotel in Holland

Maritim has announced plans to open its first hotel in Amsterdam and the largest conference hotel in Holland in 2018.

The Maritim Hotel Amsterdam’s largest conference room will be able to accommodate up to 4,750 delegates, while two other large event spaces will be able to host 2,300 and 1,300 delegates. There will also be an additional 17 smaller conference rooms and six private business offices.

With 34 floors, the hotel is the tallest in Amsterdam. It is located in the downtown district of Overhoeks on the banks of River IJ. Situated close to the main railway station, the hotel will offer a 24-hour, complimentary boat-shuttle from the station to the hotel for guests. It will also have a car park with 450 spaces.

The hotel will provide 579 bedrooms and suites, as well as a presidential suite that will measure 340sqm in size. Its facilities include a spa, swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gymnasium, as well as a sky bar and a VIP lounge on the top floor.

Dining options include a sushi bar, a tapas bar and an international buffet restaurant.
