Surf Snowdonia to open in July

Surfing and water sports park Surf Snowdonia, currently under construction, will open this July.

The facility, at the foothills of the Snowdonia National Park in north Wales, will feature an artificial surfing lagoon, which will generate waves of varying heights up to six feet, in a 300-metre long lagoon.

The Hub building will feature a 50-metre long café, restaurant and bar positioned immediately alongside the surfing lagoon, with a glass front allowing visitors to watch the surfing action close-up.

The venue will also offer event spaces and woodland trails and accommodation units are planned for the future.
