Sales at the end of December were £36m, compared to £25m at the same point in the previous year. BI Worldwide recorded full-year sales to 30 June 2014 of £32.2m.

the agency is also forecasting a record full-year result, with UK sales predicted to top £40m. It cites 'strong growth from existing clients and a number of new business wins' as catalysts for the increase.

Mike Davies, BI Worldwide managing director, said: "The strong customer service culture delivered by our highly talented team has consistently delivered great results for us since a change in focus that began in 2010. These strategies are working and we plan ‘more of the same’ in the year ahead."

The company has also announced a £500,000 refurbishment of its Newport Pagnell offices as staff numbers are predicted to grow to 200 this year.

In January, BI Worldwide appointed a new operations director after a restructure of the agency's event division, which came as a result of the departure of David Battley. Former director Battley has since joined agency Grass Roots.
