Hong Kong: three of the best restaurants for groups

Three of the best restaurants for groups in Hong Kong, offering a mix of sporting, scenic and waterfront themes.

Airport World Trade Center: The building, located in Hong Kong International Airport, offers 380sqm of flexible conference space and a retreat for networking and meetings. Its location, next to the main airport terminal, AsiaWorld-Expo and SkyCity Marriott Hotel, forms the hub of a new cluster for meetings and events on the northern half of Lantau Island. Groups can also reserve any-sized workspace, from workstations through to serviced offices.

Dining options include classic Cantonese and Western cuisine, in both indoor and outdoor event spaces, bars and a cigar lounge. The Sky Terrace is an outdoor venue suited to large cocktail parties and special events. The venue hosts between 30 to 300 guests.

Hong Kong Jockey Club: Race day functions are a popular incentive, with private tours and access-all-areas badges available to visitors. The venue is also available for private exhibitions, receptions, press conferences and parties on non-race days. On race days, the venue can host from 20 to 200, which increases to a 500-person capacity on non-race days.

Aberdeen Marina Club: The clubhouse features nine stylish banquet venues that are suited to a range of events, including cocktail parties, product launches, smaller trade shows, conferences, seminars, training lectures and gala-themed parties. Founded in 1984, the club is about a 20-minute drive from downtown Central, close to Ocean Park and overlooking Aberdeen Harbour.
