The appointment follows AlliedPRA’s recent restructure that resulted in the winding down of its European operations.

McGrath, who has 25 years of experience across all aspects of the hospitality industry, will work alongside Chris Bason as a second Global DMC Partner account director within the UK market.

Director at AbleMaxx Maxine MacPherson said: "I have worked with Rachel for many years at AlliedPRA and know her to be a very loyal, dedicated and committed employee. Her clients in turn understand her commitment to their business.

"Rachel will now have a full global DMC portfolio to offer her clients and, having already met our president and HQ team, understands the commitment we have as a brand to set ourselves apart from our competition. As a team we continue to strive to be the best possible local support to create successful events with the right overseas partners, offering an essential bridge between our event planning clients and our overseas DMC Partners."
