
The award acknowledges a commitment to employees in ‘continuous improvement through learning and development’. The gold accreditation follows six years of First Protocol adhering to IIP, having achieved the first standard in 2009 and Silver in 2012.
Mark Riches, First Protocol managing director, said that there are only a handful of event companies with IIP Gold accreditation.
"Not only is it very prestigious – you have to achieve 166 standards to be awarded Gold – but it’s a brilliant reflection of our commitment to our people and putting people first.
