The group, including planners from Adding Value, TMB Marketing & Communications, River Marketing, BI Worldwide, CMM, Inception Global and Shore Events flew to Helsinki on Wednesday, before transferring to a connecting flight and arriving in Rovaniemi on Wednesday in the late afternoon, experiencing a traditional Finnish sauna with an optional dip in a frozen lake.

This was followed by a three-course dinner, including reindeer and other Finnish specialities at Bear’s Den, a wilderness lodge that can host dinners for between 40 to 70 guests. The group stayed overnight at the four-star City Hotel in Rovaniemi.

Yesterday (Thursday), the group headed to Snow Rally Rings, a 40-minute drive from Rovaniemi, to take part in a host of winter sport activities, including ice driving in both civilian and rally cars, ice-karting, skidoos and quad biking on ice.

Driving skills were put to the test once more with an hour-long dog-sledding safari, before the group headed to lunch at Poropirtti. The group carried out site inspections at the Arctic Snow Hotel and Bear's Lodge, before arriving in Levi, where they will be based at Lapland Hotel Sirkantahti for the next two days.

Today (Friday), the group will visit Snow Village and take part in a reindeer ride and snowmobile safari.
