The DMC will negotiate, secure and manage international groups, conferences, and incentives of all sizes. The Fusion Group intends for Clearly Scotland to be ‘fully transparent on all aspects of pricing and service’, hence its name.
The Clearly Scotland team plans to make the most of recent increased flight accessibility to Scotland from North America and Europe, and will concentrate on establishing brand overseas for the next year to eighteen months. They estimate that Clearly Scotland will generate several millions of pounds worth of new business for Scotland in the next few years.
The DMC will be headed by directors Alex McKie and Stuart Evans, alongside a team of event professionals with more than 60 years of industry experience between them.
Evans said: "We are hugely excited to launch Clearly Scotland. We feel our concept of a completely transparent service with no over-inflated pricing and made-up margins will make Scotland more affordable to international groups. With the increased amount of flights coming into Scotland from global destinations the time is right to capitalise on this increased accessibility and affordability."
Fusion also plans to launch two other new brands using the same transparent pricing model, Clearly London and Clearly Europe.
McKie said: "Like the Scottish model, we are already dealing extensively with these locations, it would be crazy not capitalise in these markets at the same time. We are optimistic once again that our creative approach, our people, our knowledge, our experience and our extensive connectivity will stand us in good stead as we roll out these new creative brands and services."
