The Algarve: destination overview

With 300 days of sunshine a year, the Algarve offers year-round options for C&I groups.

Ease of access: Many of the big hotels, resorts and golf courses are located less than an hour from Faro Airport.

Climate control: With over 300 days of sunshine a year, mild winters, hot summers tempered by the Atlantic breeze, and warm, sunny spring and autumn, the Algarve is the ideal place for both business and leisure.

Choice of venues: The Western Algarve is populated with busy ports and picturesque fishing villages. Albufeira in the central Algarve has been at the forefront of tourism development while Vilamoura is a paradise for golfers with no less than six international standard golf courses and a large concentration of venues for events just a few meters away from the famous Marina and the casino.

Incentive ideas: Golf, tennis, water sports, sailing, hot-air balloons, vineyard tours and jeep safaris are available. Social activities can be arranged in cities and picturesque villages, with venues including Moorish castles and Baroque mansions.
