Aloft and Element hotel brands to debut in Dubai

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has signed an agreement with wasl hospitality & leisure, to debut the Aloft and Element brands in Dubai.

Aloft Dubai Raffa and Element Dubai Raffa, both scheduled to open in 2018, will be built simultaneously and operate as a complex offering 165 and 96 rooms respectively. Located near Dubai Maritime City — the new development at Port Rashid — the hotels will be located close to Sheikh Zayed Road and Dubai’s traditional commercial centre.

All of Aloft Raffa’s facilities, which will include a bar, 24-hour eatery and fitness facilities, will be accessible to guests of Element Raffa.

Burt Carnahan, senior vice president acquisitions & development, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Europe, Africa & Middle East, said: "The addition of these two new hotels is a testament to the confidence owners have in Starwood and our brands. The pipeline for our mid-market brands is increasingly robust and we see many opportunities for both new-build hotels and conversions for the brands throughout the Middle East."
