Reed cancels IBTM India 2015

Reed Exhibitions has cancelled the third edition of IBTM India while it takes time to 'further research' the country's MICE market.

The show, which was due to take place in September this year, will now reconvene in 2016 after further market assessment.

A spokesperson for Reed said: "After two successful editions of IBTM India, Reed Exhibitions has decided to take time out in 2015 to undertake further research and analysis of India’s dynamic and growing MICE market.

"As with all its events, it wants to tailor its product for its audience as well as its industry partners, making sure that it has the same brand values as the rest of the IBTM events portfolio, before announcing the 2016 dates and venue over the coming months."

IBTM India moved to Chennai for its second edition in 2014, following the launch event in Mumbai in 2013.
